Vinicius Praises Ronaldo After Portugal’s Nations League Win
Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior has praised Cristiano Ronaldo after the Portuguese legend helped his country lift the UEFA Nations League trophy.
Ronaldo, now 40, played a key role in Portugal’s dramatic final against Spain, scoring the equaliser that pushed the match into extra time. After 120 minutes ended 2-2, Portugal sealed the win 5-3 on penalties, with Spain’s Alvaro Morata missing a crucial spot kick.
Following the victory, Vinicius—who now wears Ronaldo’s famous No. 7 jersey at Madrid—reacted to a Portugal celebration post featuring Ronaldo on Instagram. In his response, the Brazilian forward simply wrote, “ADDICTED TO WINNING,” showing his admiration for the football icon’s continued success.
