South African pop sensation and Grammy winner Tyla has opened up about her long-awaited collaboration with Nigerian Afrobeats icon Wizkid. She revealed that their track Dynamite was actually recorded three years ago—long before her big break.

Speaking in a recent chat with Capital Xtra in London, Tyla shared how much the song meant to her. “Back then, I was still new and barely known. I didn’t think Wizkid would be interested in working with me, but he was. He listened to some of my early stuff, liked it, and we ended up making Dynamite,” she said. “I’ve been dancing to that demo in my room for years, dreaming of the day I’d finally get to release it.”

Tyla also praised Wizkid for his massive impact on African music, saying, “He’s done so much to spotlight our sound and our creatives to the world. He’s incredibly talented, and honestly, I don’t think he has a single bad song.”

It has been reported that Nigerian Singer, Omah Lay’s talent manager, Muyiwa Awoniyi, has officially separated from the singer.

The manager takes to his social media platform to reveal this recent change and wished the singer well on his music journey.

“With love and respect, I am no longer managing @Omah_Lay.That’s my brother and I wish him all the best in his endeavors for life!”
