Kanye West Threatens Kim Kardashian Over Trademarking Their Children’s Names

Kanye West has threatened legal action against Kim Kardashian over her decision to trademark their children’s names until they turn 18. This comes after Kim reportedly blocked him from using their daughter North’s name in a Diddy song.
West shared a screenshot of his conversation with Kim, where she insisted that Kanye had agreed to the trademarks. Kim explained that she only blocked the use of North’s name to protect their daughter’s privacy.
“I asked you back then if I could trademark her name, and you agreed,” Kim said. “When she’s 18, it will go to her. I sent paperwork to stop her name from being in the Diddy song to protect her. We agreed when they were born that I would handle the trademarks so no one else could take them.”
Kanye, however, wasn’t having it. He demanded that Kim amend the trademark agreement or face serious consequences. “Amend it, or I’m going to war. And neither of us will recover from the public fallout. You’re going to have to kill me,” Kanye reportedly wrote.

Rema stated, “I feel like there’s a need for us [family] to get bigger and become a whole empire if we can. And then neither do I want to wait for it to become a mistake before I decide to be a father. I’m very particular and I won’t be h*eing around.”
Discussing his connections within the industry, Rema spoke about his relationships with fellow artists Ayra Starr and South African singer Tyla. He described Ayra as “family” and mentioned that he had been friends with Tyla even before their respective rises to fame.

I believe the future for him is truly endless in what he can achieve. I was a fan of the song [‘Calm Down’] even before I jumped onto the remix. What stands out for me is how the song continued to grow even a year after it was first released.”

Neill Blomkamp to Direct New ‘Starship Troopers’ Movie Based on Original Novel

Renowned filmmaker Neill Blomkamp, celebrated for his work on “District 9,” is set to direct a new adaptation of “Starship Troopers” for Sony’s Columbia Pictures. This upcoming film will revisit Robert A. Heinlein’s 1959 science fiction novel, distinguishing itself from the 1997 satirical movie directed by Paul Verhoeven.
The 1997 “Starship Troopers” film offered a satirical take on Heinlein’s novel, critiquing fascism and militarism. In contrast, Blomkamp’s adaptation aims to remain more faithful to the original text, exploring themes of citizenship, duty, and the complexities of a militarized society.
Joining Blomkamp in this endeavour is his wife and collaborator, Terri Tatchell, who will co-write the screenplay. The duo previously earned acclaim for their work on “District 9,” which received four Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay.
Blomkamp’s filmography, including titles like “Elysium” and “Chappie,” is known for blending science fiction with socio-political commentary. This background suggests that the new “Starship Troopers” adaptation will delve into the novel’s intricate themes while delivering the director’s signature visual storytelling.
