Katy Perry’s ‘Woman’s World’ Video Sparks Controversy
Katy Perry’s latest music video for “Woman’s World” drew significant attention but not necessarily for the intended reasons. Released as the lead single from her upcoming seventh album, the video features Perry in a surreal, hyper-feminine construction site setting, where she encounters bizarre and disjointed scenarios including being flattened by a CGI anvil and donning robotic armor.
Despite Perry’s energetic performance, the video left many fans perplexed and critics questioning its alignment with feminist themes, particularly given its production by Dr. Luke, who has faced allegations of sexual assault from Kesha in the past.
Criticism of the video extended to its portrayal of a supposed “women’s world,” which some viewers felt fell short by focusing on hyper-sexualized depictions of predominantly white women with similar body types. The choice of predominantly male crew members further fueled debate about the video’s message and production decisions, highlighting a disconnect between the video’s intended message and its execution.

Popular Nigerian Comedian Mr Macaroni recalls a story from his love life and relationships. During a recent interview, the comedian shared that his relationship with one lady failed die to circumstances.
“My past relationship wasn’t even in Lagos. The time I really dated when I was in love, I was still in university then.
