Nigerian music stars Ayra Starr, Tems, and Rema have made waves internationally, earning spots on Rolling Stone’s prestigious list of the best 100 albums of 2024.

The list highlights shows albums that have gained global recognition and success, and the inclusion of these three artists signifies the growing influence of Nigerian music on the world stage.

Rema’s second studio album, Heis, secured an impressive 11th place on the list, with Rolling Stone praising it as a “unique, buzzy, and visceral” project.

Tems, known for her soulful voice and powerful presence, earned the 37th spot with her album Born in the Wild.

The album was described by Rolling Stone as offering a “physical and emotional listening experience.”

Ayra Starr’s second album, The Year I Turned 21, took the 53rd position, with Rolling Stone noting the singer’s musical maturity and passion.
