Christian Association of Nigerians Reacts to Jos Attack on Palm Sunday

The Christian Association of Nigerians (CAN) reacts to the terrible news of the attack in Jos which even occurred on Palm Sunday.

It can be noted that the attack occurred in Angwan Rukuba, Gari Ya Waye area of Jos North, Plateau State.

The association cried out that a day meant for peace became bloodshed.

“We mourn. We grieve. But we must also speak the truth. How did we get here? How is it that people can no longer feel safe in their own homes? How is it that, even on a sacred day, communities are left exposed to such terror? Nigerians are tired of mourning. Nigerians are tired of statements.”
