Don Jazzy and Wizkid have finally settled their differences after months of tension. Their reconciliation was caught on camera, and the clips are now trending online.

The fallout between the two music heavyweights started when Wizkid made his now-infamous statement, “Hip-hop is dead.” This didn’t sit well with many Nigerian rappers, including Ladipoe, who is signed to Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records.

Ladipoe fired back at Wizkid with a tweet that read, “Nigerian rappers that survived ‘hip-hop is dead’ watching Afrobeats artists go through their own.” This was a clear jab at Wizkid.

One fan decided to drag Wizkid into the conversation by tagging him in a tweet about Ladipoe’s shade. Wizkid’s response was blunt: “lol never chatting to anyone signed to an influencer. Next d’.”

He later retweeted posts suggesting that he was referring to Don Jazzy as nothing more than a social media influencer rather than a legendary producer and music mogul.

This sparked massive reactions online. While some people defended Wizkid, many felt he was disrespecting Don Jazzy, a man who has played a crucial role in shaping the Nigerian music industry.

Things escalated further when Don Jazzy unfollowed Wizkid on social media, making it clear that their relationship had taken a hit.
