EFCC Arrests E-Money for Naira Abuse and Dollar Spraying at an Event in Lagos
Popular Nigerian Businessman and Socialite, E-Money has been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for naira abuse.
It was reported that the socialite was picked up EFCC on the 28th of April at his house in Omole, Lagos. Rumors of his arrest begin and many link it to the viral video of him spraying dollars at an event.
On the 29th of April, an EFCC official came out to the public with a statement rveelain the arrest of E-Money.
“On Monday night, we arrested E-Money for Naira abuse and defacing foreign currencies. Specifically, he was alleged to have sprayed U.S. dollars, which is against the Foreign Exchange Act.”
“Yes, he was arrested at his Omole, Lagos residence. Preliminary investigations are ongoing, and he will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.”
“He is currently being flown to Abuja as I speak, to face investigators on the issue.”

It can be noted that the singer took to social media asking for a graphic designer to create a flyer, which later turned into a challenge that many criticised, stating it undervalued creatives.
Moses Bliss has now issued an apology, saying “I sincerely apologize to every graphic designer who felt disrespected or undervalued… that was never my intention.”
He added “The goal was to give creatives a platform to showcase their work, not to undermine their value.”
