Nollywood star Funke Akindele has welcomed Big Brother Naija Season 9 housemate Wanni’s request to be a part of her film production crew.
During a chat with her fellow housemates, Wanni shared her ambition to work under the guidance of both Funke Akindele and Kunle Afolayan.
“I want to be involved in Funke Akindele’s and Kunle Afolayan’s productions,” she said.
Wanni didn’t shy away from praising Akindele’s reputation, emphasizing her respect for the actress’s accomplishments. “Funke Akindele is a huge name in Nollywood.
Her movies are always high-quality, and she’s been dominating the industry for a long time. She’s an OG,” Wanni remarked during the conversation, showing her admiration.

In response, Akindele reshared the video on her X account and gave her a stamp of approval.
She simply wrote, “Will be waiting. Best of luck to you,” showing support for Wanni’s desire to learn from her.
