Nigerian Gospel Singer Mercy Chinwo drags ex manager to court for diversion of royalties. The singer claimed that the manager, Ezekiel Onyedikachukwu, did a diversion of $345k of music royalties.

Due to her accusation the Nigerian Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, aims to make the manager’s appearance to court possible. A warrant for his arrest has been released by the Lagos State Federal High Court.

The ex manager will face the situation in court and reveal why he remit a fair share of royalties to Mercy Chinwo.

It was reported by the EFCC that they failed to arrest the manager by themselves therefore prompting a warrant arrest by the court.

It can be noted that the singer took to social media asking for a graphic designer to create a flyer, which later turned into a challenge that many criticised, stating it undervalued creatives.

Moses Bliss has now issued an apology, saying “I sincerely apologize to every graphic designer who felt disrespected or undervalued… that was never my intention.”

He added “The goal was to give creatives a platform to showcase their work, not to undermine their value.”
