OA (Odd Atelier), Jennie’s agency, apologized on July 9 via social media, expressing regret and confirming Jennie’s personal apologies to affected staff. The incident prompted a petition to investigate, with speculation that the vlog was filmed in Capri, Italy, raising diplomatic concerns.
The incident sparked debates on K-pop idols’ strict behavioral standards, highlighted by Jennie in a Netflix documentary discussing prohibitions on activities like drinking and smoking.
Despite the controversy, Jennie continues her solo career and commitments with BLACKPINK, establishing her own company in December 2023. OA Entertainment vowed preventive measures, emphasizing responsibility in addressing the issue.

It can be noted that the singer took to social media asking for a graphic designer to create a flyer, which later turned into a challenge that many criticised, stating it undervalued creatives.
Moses Bliss has now issued an apology, saying “I sincerely apologize to every graphic designer who felt disrespected or undervalued… that was never my intention.”
He added “The goal was to give creatives a platform to showcase their work, not to undermine their value.”
