Kai Trump, granddaughter of Donald Trump, gave a heartfelt speech at the Republican National Convention, portraying the former president as a loving and typical grandfather. Speaking at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 17-year-old Kai shared anecdotes of her grandpa sneaking her candy, proudly showing off her honor roll report card, and calling her to discuss golf during school.

Kai highlighted her close relationship with Trump, recounting their golf games where he tries to psyche her out, only to be reminded she’s a Trump too. Despite his busy schedule and numerous court cases, Trump always checks in on her and encourages her to succeed. Kai also expressed her shock at an assassination attempt on Trump during a rally in Pennsylvania.

Concluding her speech, Kai praised her grandfather’s resilience and inspiration, declaring her love for him. Donald Trump, seated in the audience, beamed with pride as he watched his granddaughter speak.
