Katy Perry’s ‘Lifetimes Tour’ Begins with a Cosmic Performance

Katy Perry’s much-anticipated Lifetimes Tour officially launched on April 23, 2025, in Mexico City, marking her return to the stage for the first time in seven years. The tour, in support of her latest album 143, promises an unforgettable experience, combining her chart-topping hits with futuristic visuals and innovative stage designs.

Ahead of the tour’s start, Perry made waves by participating in a Blue Origin space flight on April 14, 2025. During the 11-minute trip, she performed “What a Wonderful World” and dedicated her journey to her daughter, Daisy. Meanwhile, the spaceflight set the stage for the Lifetimes Tour, which incorporates space-inspired themes, out-of-this-world costumes, and a futuristic atmosphere.

In addition, this Lifetimes Tour boasts an exciting setlist filled with fan favorites, including:

Artificial, Chained to the Rhythm, Dark Horse, California Gurls (with Snoop Dogg), Teenage Dream, I Kissed a Girl, E.T., Rise, Roar, Daisies.

Additionally, Perry’s costumes for the tour include robotic armor bodysuits, metallic boots, and 3D webbed designs, drawing inspiration from her space adventure and adding a touch of sci-fi to her performance.

Tour Stops and Dates

After its thrilling start in Mexico City, the Lifetimes Tour will make its way across North America, with upcoming shows in:

  • May 7: Houston, TX (Toyota Center)
  • May 21: Dallas, TX (American Airlines Center)
  • July 12: Phoenix, AZ (Footprint Center)
  • July 21: Seattle, WA (Climate Pledge Arena)

Also, the tour will head to Australia in June, followed by South America in September, and will finish its European leg in the UK in October, with multiple shows in London, Paris, Munich, and Bologna.

Nigerian singer Tems reacts to comments linking her with Nigerian goalkeeper Maduka Okoye.

During a recent interview, the singer spoke about the African music movement.

“It’s amazing, you know, coming from Nigeria. I’m just really happy where African music is going right now. Everybody’s popping off and everybody’s shining. So I’m just happy to be a part of that.”

She was then asked if she knew the goalkeeper, to which she replied “Do I know him personally? “I think I do. No, no, no, no, no. I don’t.”
