South Korean actor Lee Jae Wook, currently starring in the Netflix historical drama Dear Hongrang, has once again hinted that his military enlistment is approaching soon. During a recent press event in Seoul, Lee shared that he plans to keep working and taking on projects until the time comes for him to begin his mandatory service. This has sparked speculation among fans that his enlistment date might be just around the corner.

This isn’t the first time Lee has talked about his upcoming military duty. Back in August 2024, during an appearance on the show The Seasons: Artist with ZICO, he confirmed that he expects to enlist in early 2025. He also mentioned his goal to stay active in the entertainment scene and take on as many activities as possible before leaving.

Fans have had mixed feelings about the news. Many understand and support his decision to fulfill his national obligation, while others feel a bit sad knowing he will be away from the screen for some time.
