Miss Universe Nigeria 2025 Crown Goes to Onyinyechi Basil from Anambra
It has been reported that Onyinyechi Basil from Anambra State has won the Miss Universe Nigeria 2025 crown.
The fashion event was held on the 30th of August, 2025. After many rounds, the final five contestants represented Ogun, Lagos, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, and Bayelsa States.
Basil stood out among her peers, delivering impressive performances in the swimwear, traditional costume, evening gown, and question-and-answer segments.
She later emerged as the winner and was crowned Miss Universe Nigeria 2025. With this victory, she will also participate in the Miss Universe Pageant to represent Nigeria.
The BET Awards 2026 ceremony was held on June 28, and while we’re celebrating this year’s winners, let’s also take a moment to appreciate the stunning fashion that lit up the red carpet.
