NYSC Corp Member Finds Ally in Omoyele Sowore Amidst Government Backlash

Nigerian Politician and Human Rights Activist, Omoyele Sowore shows up to defend and support the NYSC corp member that has been threatened.
It can be recalled that a viral video has made its way to the country. A young lady who is serving the country laments about the government and President.
The viral video also gained the attention of NYSC, resulting to messaging the corp member. The message ordered the removal of the video and for the lady to report the office on 17th of March, 2025.
However fellow Nigerians and activists have spoken out and called to defend the Corp member against any official threat.
It was reported that Sowore arrived to the local government of the corp member to showcase support in handling the case.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump seemed to enjoy himself as Chelsea dominated the first half of the Club World Cup final against Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday night. Speaking at half-time from the MetLife Stadium, Trump told DAZN Football he was having a “really great time” watching the match.
Chelsea went into the break 3-0 up, thanks to a brace from Cole Palmer and a goal from Joao Pedro, leaving the French champions stunned. Trump praised the game, calling it a “tremendous sport,” clearly impressed by the pace and excitement of the contest. The Blues went on to seal a 3-0 win, lifting the Club World Cup trophy in emphatic fashion.

BREAKING: Former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari is Dead

Former President Muhammadu Buhari is dead. He passed away at the age of 82. The news was confirmed on Sunday, July 13, 2025, by presidential spokesperson Garba Shehu, who stated that Buhari died in London after battling an illness for some time.
The announcement was also shared through official government channels by President Bola Tinubu’s team. Buhari passed away around 4:30 p.m. GMT while receiving medical care at a clinic in the United Kingdom.
Following the news of his death, President Tinubu expressed sadness and extended condolences to the former First Lady Aisha Buhari and the rest of the family. Tinubu also directed Vice President Kashim Shettima to oversee the process of bringing Buhari’s body back to Nigeria for burial.
Flags across the country have been ordered to fly at half-mast, and a state funeral is expected. The details of the funeral arrangements are yet to be officially released.
