SEVENTEEN Tops the Charts Again with THUNDER as IU Stay in No 2
SEVENTEEN isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Their latest track “THUNDER” is still sitting comfortably at the top of the Soompi Music Chart for the second week in a row. The song, with its upbeat rhythm and catchy chorus, seems to be exactly what fans need this season. Produced by group member Woozi alongside Bumzu and S.Coups, “THUNDER” carries energy and emotion.
Right behind them is solo queen IU, whose version of the classic ballad “Never Ending Story” has moved up to the number two spot. IU’s soft vocals and emotional depth give the old song a new heartbeat. Listeners have clearly been touched by her gentle delivery and the nostalgic feel of the track.
In third place is rising star MEOVV with the fiery single “HANDS UP.” The song had a strong run at number two but slipped slightly this week. Another surprise this week came from Maktub, whose ballad “Starting With You” has found its way back into the top 10, landing at number ten. The song, filled with warmth and sincerity, seems to be making a quiet comeback as listeners reconnect with its heartfelt message.
Nigerian Fuji artist Shanko Rasheed Atanda sadly reports the loss of his first son, Jamaldeen Atanda.
The artist took to social media and revealed this sad news.
“So sad, no parent prays to lose a child in their lifetime but Alhamdulilahi Jamaldeen Emirs Atanda JNR rest well my champ I will surely tell you all about it when I see you again. Omo Ola sun reeee,” he wrote.

“Right now, I have no car, and I owe a lot of people. The last time I had a car was in 2020. I need to pay my debts. I struggle to pay for the hotel I stay at now. I need shelter and a car, even if it is a jalopy. The money I am supposed to use for food, I use it to take Uber around.”
