Tems praises Ayra Starr
Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has praised another singer, Ayra Starr, for being hardworking. In a recent interview with NPR, Tems said Ayra Starr deserves more accolades.
“I would like to give flowers to this young girl called Ayra Starr. We met years ago. She reminds me so much of myself, she’s such a hardworking girl and she deserves some flowers,” Tems said.
She also hinted at a possible partnership between them.

In a recent interview with Korty EO, the singer shared that it was against his father to pursue music. His mother then recalled how he came to turn them down on studying abroad and stated he wanted to stay and learn in Nigeria.
The singer studied performing arts at OAU.
