Tiwa Savage has stirred conversations online after making a daring remark about the so-called ‘Afrobeats Top 3’.

The tag usually refers to Wizkid, Burna Boy and Davido. This artist are often celebrated as the leading names in the genre. But during her recent show in London, Tiwa openly challenged the idea. She states that the ranking sidelines women.

Midway through her performance, she paused and shouted, “F**k the Top 3”. This cause loud reactions from the crowd. Although many hail her as the ‘Queen of Afrobeats’, she is frequently left out of male-dominated lists for the genre’s biggest stars.
