Lagos Taskforce Arrests 88 Miscreants in Oshodi

The Lagos State Taskforce has arrested 88 suspected miscreants in two operations in Oshodi, Bolade, and nearby areas, responding to numerous complaints about rising criminal activities, especially during rush hours.

The operations occurred in the morning and afternoon after reports of hoodlums harassing individuals. Chairman CSP Adetayo Akerele reaffirmed the Taskforce’s commitment to public safety, stating, “We cannot allow these criminal elements to hold our people hostage.” The arrests received widespread community approval, and the Taskforce assured residents that similar operations will continue. Akerele encouraged vigilance and urged residents to report any suspicious activities.

Silverbird Group founder Ben Murray-Bruce has recounted how a South African partner defrauded him of $3.5 million meant for a cinema complex in Kenya.
