Coach Nancy Apologizes as EeZee and Mercy Chinwo Work on Settling Royalties

Nancy Nnadi, Managing Director of EeZee Conceptz and known widely as Coach Nancy, has confirmed that efforts are currently underway to resolve the royalty dispute involving gospel singer Mercy Chinwo. This comes after Nancy publicly withdrew earlier claims she made against Chinwo during the heat of their legal tussle.
Back in January 2025, Mercy Chinwo took legal action against her former label boss, EeZee Tee, accusing him of diverting $345,000 in music royalties; a case that sparked headlines and followed her 2022 exit from the label over financial disagreements. In the midst of the legal back-and-forth, Nancy accused Chinwo of financial misconduct, prompting the singer to file a defamation suit against her, demanding a public apology and the removal of the posts.
Over the weekend, Nancy took to Instagram to retract her earlier statements and expressed hope for a peaceful resolution. She shared that the reconciliation process is being guided by respected church leaders.
“Following legal advice and in the interest of peace and the love of God, I take back my earlier post concerning Minister Mercy Chinwo,” she wrote. “I pray that God brings to completion the peace talks being handled by the Fathers of Faith between her and EeZee Conceptz.”

Tiwa Savage Shares Touching Moment with Her Son: “He Melts My Heart”

Nigerian Singer Tiwa Savage speaks on parenthood and her experience as a mother.
The singer took to social media to recall a moment that happened “Last night, I was reminded of one of the hardest things about being a mom: you still have to discipline your child and be strict, even when it breaks your heart. I’m a very, very strict mother.”
“But last night, I really went off on him. And this is why he melts my heart so much…I woke up and saw that he had quietly come to sleep next to me. I had slept on the couch, and he still came to lie beside me, my baby. I was shouting earlier… ahhh. Yet he still came close, seeking comfort. Being a mother is tough. But it’s also the best feeling in the world.”
