“I Am a Devout Christian”: Ini Edo Addresses CAN Over Film Title “A Very Dirty Christmas”
Nigerian actress and filmmaker Ini Edo has reacted and responded to concerns raised by the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) regarding the title of her movie.
The film star shared that she was surprised by the complaints after the movie was released, stating that the title had already been approved by the appropriate authorities. She also added:
“I am a devout Christian. My faith is deeply personal to me, and it guides my values, my choices, and my life. I would never knowingly create or associate myself with any work that seeks to misrepresent, disrespect, or undermine my religion or the essence of Christmas. The title of the film is metaphorical, reflecting the story being told and the realities explored within it.”
Nigerian actress Bisola Aiyeola speaks on motherhood and when she found out she was first going to be a mother.
She revealed that she was afraid when she first found out and revealed that she was engaged at that time, however they didn’t get married.
“So it was so shameful because my mum was a single mum and I am about to become one, I feared my child might also have the same fate,” she recalled.
She then added that at the end of the day she is grateful for her daughter after she accepted her fate.

Nigerian singer Asake speaks on his relationship with his father. In a recent interview he shared that he loves his father despite any distance.
“The love is still the same between me and my dad, even if I don’t live with him or see him every day, Even if he points a gun at me, till eternity he will always be my dad, and I will still show him the same love.”
It can be noted that few weeks back the singer gifted his father and his mother a car.
